Teacher
Our primary teacher, Deborah, is new to the Montessori world of teaching. She is astounded at how much she has learned about teaching this year. She is working on her Montessori primary education certificate and having fun implementing all her new found knowledge directly into the classroom. Though she is new to Montessori, she is not new to teaching. She has taught in public elementary and middle schools for seven years. She has two fabulous kids, five and three. She loves to be with them and their daddy. She has a degree in Education from the University of Georgia and has done many credit hours relating to the field of teaching, technology, and professional training. Spending five years off from teaching to be home with kids, enabled Deborah to volunteer and be a part of many other ventures. She followed her husband to Germany for three years and got to travel, which is what she likes to do best. She has learned how wonderful and different teaching in a Montessori school is and will forever be changed by it.
